THE CONVERSATION IN HEAVEN

Abd Mubarak was going to the Mecca when one night he dreamt he was in heaven. There he could listen to a conversation between two angels:

-How many pilgrims have come this year to the Holly City? - asked one of them.

-Six hundred thousand- answered the other.

-And to how many of these has been accepted their peregrination?

-None. In spite of there is in Bagdad a shoemaker called Ali Mufiq that didn’t walk, but to whom his peregrination was accepted and whose graces beneficiated the six hundred thousand pilgrims.

As Abd Mubarak woke up, he went to Mufiq’s shop and told him about the dream.

-At the expense of big sacrifices I managed to collect 350 coins- said crying the shoemaker- But when I was ready to start walking to the Mecca, I realized that my neighbors were hungry. I shared the money with them, sacrificing my peregrination.
